Hello there!

First of all a little word about the blog focus. I know the layout is screaming ‘druid’ and that is correct, this is mainly a druid blog. However I will write about other WoW related things too. There won’t be any theorycrafting though.. I am extremely poor in math and still use my fingers for counting sometimes. *cough* So, that department I’ll happily leave to professionals.

The idea of writing a blog has haunted my mind for few months and now (June 09) I finally decided to take action. I already had my own website so hosting the blog was not going to be a problem. I just renamed the domain. Speaking of the name… I’m sure someone wonders why such a strange one.

See? The oh so lovely dryad Shael’dryn is behind these twisted words. You can hear this part of dialogue while doing the Raene’s Cleansing questline in Ashenvale. I love dryads, they’re so funny. And cute. Northrend dryads especially.

Uhm.. yeah. What was I suppose to write again? Well, as for myself I am a 23 year old WoW player from Finland. I first started in the final phase of the original beta and have been playing almost non-stop ever since. What comes to playing my main character my major interest is 25man raiding. Alts are for whatever I might find interesting at the time. My main and majority of alts are on the European server Emerald Dream. Those are all Alliance but I have few Horde characters too on Twilight’s Hammer and Zenedar. What I play varies a lot. Today I might be absolutely thrilled about my paladin but tomorrow I might not.

When I am not playing WoW I might be reading, watching movie/tv series or playing on my X360. Horror, fantasy and science fiction apply to all those. As examples I could mention H.P. Lovecraft and Alastair Reynolds for the books, Babylon 5 and Lord of the Rings for movies/tv and Mass Effect for other games.
